Sheila Olubendi

Sheila Olubendi is the Managing Partner and an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya, specialising in corporate, commercial, and transactional law. She advises corporate and private clients on complex legal and regulatory matters spanning corporate governance, real estate, banking and finance, ESG and regulatory compliance, intellectual property, and international commercial transactions.

Sheila has a strong transactional practice, with particular depth in commercial and residential real estate, including acquisitions, disposals, leasing, securities, and development projects. She regularly leads legal due diligence exercises, structures and negotiates transaction documentation, and manages statutory approvals and registry processes to deliver efficient, compliant, and commercially sound outcomes.

Her corporate and commercial work covers the structuring and negotiation of commercial contracts, joint ventures, shareholder arrangements, and governance frameworks, as well as advising on incorporations, restructurings, and ongoing corporate compliance for both local and international clients.
